Fork Re-valve (dirt and street)

What we do: A complete fork service (see above) and the installation of the proper fork springs and replacement valving (Ohlins or RaceTech). We calculate your springs and valving on your weight, riding style, experience level and personal interview with the rider.

Why we do it: Plush, stiff, feel of control, traction and better bottoming resistance. These are some of the criteria that riders are looking for, both on the street or on the dirt. The major problem is that the stock riders and not you. Our job is to set up the motorcycle/ATV to your individual preferences and needs to create the least amount of compromise.

Fork service (dirt and street)

What we do: Complete disassembly, inspection, and ultrasonic cleaning of forks and internals. Remove and replace fork seals. Polish chrome tubes and reassemble.

Why we do it: Proper operation of your forks depends on proper clearances and clean oil. Contaminated oil increases wear on the forks and can cause fork seal leaks, damping problems, and increased friction.

Shock Re-valve (dirt and street)

What we do: A complete shock service (see above) and installation of the shock spring and replacement valving (RaceTech Gold Valve). We calculate your spring and valving on your weight, riding style, experience level and personal interview with the rider.

Why we do it: For the same reasons that you would re-valve front forks, to get the front end to work the way you want it (see front fork re-valve). The rear suspension needs the same attention. Re-valving the rear shock in most cases can give you a lot of the same benefits as replacing the shock but the less money.

Shock service (dirt and street)

What we do: Complete disassembly, inspection, and ultrasonic cleaning of shocks and internals. Remove and replace shock shaft seal, polish chrome shock shaft and reassemble.

Why we do it: Proper operation of your shock depends on proper clearances and clean oil. Contaminated oil increases wear on the shock internals and decreases damping function.

Titanium nitride fork coating (gold or black)

What we do: We titanium nitride the chrome tubes in gold or black nitride.

Why we do it: Titanium nitride powers the seal drag and increases the Rockwell hardness which will increase the durability of the tubes and reduce the damage from debris.

Works damper rod hard anodizing

What we do: We hard anodize the aluminum damper rod tube and polish the rebound rod.

Why we do it: Hard anodizing increases the Rockwell hardness of the aluminum damper tube decreasing both wear and friction and slowing the deposit of wear of the damper tube. Polishing the rebound rod helps the damper rod seal better. A stock set of forks the damper rod is raw aluminum. Our hard anodizing and polishing is a huge improvement. Less friction and longer lasting oil.

Works fork hard anodizing

What we do: We hard anodize the aluminum slider tubes.

Why we do it: Hard anodizing increases the Rockwell hardness of the aluminum slider tubes decreasing both wear and friction. The stock anodizing on some forks can last as little as 10-15 hours. Our hard anodizing is a big improvement over stock.

Works shock body hard anodizing (for aluminum bodies only)

What we do: See works fork hard anodizing.
